WHO WE ARE
West Lake is a residential community located in Portage, Michigan. Over 200 homes are located along the shores of the 335-acre lake. The unique combination of great fishing, scenic beauty, and friendly neighbors make West Lake the kind of place where you want to be.
As a non-profit organization, the West Lake Improvement Association exists to safeguard our waterfront and the recreational advantages of West Lake.
OUR MISSION
Preserve and protect the beauty of West Lake through conservation and water quality control and protect the land values of property owners.

– 3rd Annual Youth Fishing Contest on May 25th! Contestants meet at 9:30 am for registration and fishing is from 10:30 to noon.
